Campbell / Piedmonte family supported by Abbie's Angels

Sponsored Family – 2025: The Campbell / Piedmonte Family

Our 2025 Gala is honoring Chelsea Campbell, 8-year-old twin to Charlotte and little sister to Carter. After weeks of being ill, Chelsea was sent to the ER on June 6, 2025 and was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Her journey is long, and recent tests show her leukemia is chemo-resistant, with a bone marrow transplant scheduled for December 22.

Chelsea's parents, Twan Campbell and JoAnnah Piedmonte, are walking this road alongside her. One of our board members, Laura Wexler, was blessed to be both Chelsea's and Abbie's teacher when they were babies, which makes this sponsorship especially meaningful to Abbie's Angels.

To support Chelsea directly, visit her GoFundMe campaign: Donate to Chelsea's Journey to Health.

Funds raised at the Gala also help Abbie's Angels continue supporting our wider community of caregivers facing complex medical needs.
